From 1814 to 1905, Norway and Sweden where united kingdoms.
But, after a serie a succession fights, broken negociations and higher revendications on the norvegian side, a plebiscite was held in Norway, on August 13 : 368 392 for the dissolution and 184 against.
That's how you take your freedom (talking to you, my fellow Quebecers).
